Why choose to work with me?
I am grateful that my work as a therapist allow me to resonate and vibe with other humans (for a living, no less). It’s a privilege to do this each day, so I’m glad you’re here considering whether we might be a good fit ;-)
When I’m not helping clients creatively connect with themselves, I love letting my own creativity out - with a particular passion for music and songwriting. Sometimes this takes a lot of negotiating with my own inner critic, since I’m also trying to keep up with my two boys while still making time for date night with my best friend who happens to be my wife. I think I do a decent job of finding the balance ;-)
I stress out over the details of life at times, but I’ve also gotten pretty good at slowing down and being kind to myself when my mind goes into overdrive. Self-care for me means turning off my phone and going for a run or a bike ride to explore and adventure, most recently having spent 3 years working as a therapist in Japan before moving recently to Pittsburgh with my family.
